I am a Multi-State Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over ten years’ experience working with children, teens, adults, and couples. I have experience working in school systems, therapeutic day schools, victim advocacy, trauma survivors, client representation in court, and supporting both adults and couples through life transitions and overall systems issues. I have worked extensively with parents going through divorce, including parent coaching and successful coparenting post-divorce.
I am trained in Level 1 Gottman Methos to assist couples by implementing targeted interventions to increase communication & enhance couple's conflict regulation.
I believe in approaching mental health from a whole person perspective including functional and integrative health and wellness. My style is founded in authenticity that values honesty and directness.
We were never meant to do it all alone.
Providing support with noticed changes in behavior such as increased aggression, isolation, anxiousness, high risk behaviors, sensory seeking/avoidant behaviors.
Finding enjoyment in activities or things that used to bring joy.
Allowing your child to "play out" their feelings and problems as adults "talk out" their life challenges
I believe in collaborating with families throughout the therapeutic journey so they feel confident to practice these skills at home.
Some specific areas of work I am passionate about include anxiety, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, the neurodivergent mind, support for a child during divorce, couples therapy, behavior concerns, depression, integrative health for mental health, life transitions, sexual assault advocacy, grief, school issues, self-esteem, navigating being a special needs parent, and empowering parents to advocate for their children’s health and education. I believe in assisting individuals in healing with the development of healthy coping skills.
